Meet the CEO
Mr. Tunde Akinwumi – Managing Director
Born in Osogbo and a native of Efon-Alaye, Ekiti State, Mr. Tunde Akinwumi has cultivated a career rooted in dedication, integrity, and expertise. His educational journey began at St. Charles Nursery and Primary School, Osogbo, Osun State, from 1974 to 1978. He then attended the prestigious Christ’s School in Ado-Ekiti from 1978 to 1983, where he earned his secondary school certificate. He further pursued his education at Osogbo Grammar School, where he completed his Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 1984.
Mr. Akinwumi gained admission to Nigeria's premier institution, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he earned a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Biochemistry in 1989. Following his university education, he served in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Rivers State, where he was an Associate Lecturer at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
After completing his NYSC program, Mr. Akinwumi embarked on his professional career as a Marketing Officer at Gold Terrace Acquisitions Limited, a real estate company, where he worked from 1990 to 1994. His exceptional leadership and strategic vision led to his promotion to General Manager of the company in 1993.
Driven by his passion for real estate, Mr. Akinwumi co-founded Everyday Properties, where he played a key role from 1995 to 2004. In 2007, he established Rich Dad Properties & Co., a real estate and consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. Under his leadership as MD, the company has grown into a reputable name in the industry, providing exceptional services and solutions.
Mr. Akinwumi's commitment to excellence is reflected in his active participation in various professional bodies, including the Institute of Directors (IOD), the Nigerian Institute of Marketing (NIM), and the Lagos State Real Estate Transaction Department (LASRERA). A man of integrity and humility, he has successfully led numerous projects for esteemed companies and individuals.
Mr. Tunde Akinwumi is not only a respected business leader but also a devoted family man, happily married and blessed with 2 beautiful children.
